Boku No Hero Academia 3, also known as My Hero Academia Season 3, is the third season of the anime series based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The season was produced by Bones studio and premiered in Japan on April 7, 2018, concluding on September 29, 2018. Here are some highlights of the season:

The Arcs

This season had several exciting arcs that kept viewers engaged throughout the 25 episodes. The first arc focused on the UA Sports Festival, in which the students of Class 1-A compete against each other in various physical challenges to determine the strongest hero. The second arc centered on the League of Villains and their plans to create a new society with superpowers.

In the third arc, the students have to complete an intense training camp in the woods under the supervision of pro-heroes. But things take a deadly turn when the League of Villains attacks their camp, leading to an epic battle between the students and villains. The fourth arc follows Deku and his classmates as they prepare for their final exams, facing off against teachers and pro-heroes.

The Characters

One of the strengths of Boku No Hero Academia is its diverse and compelling characters. Season 3 introduced some new faces, with Class 1-B joining the Sports Festival, including standout characters like Shiozaki and Tetsutetsu.

The season also gave more depth to existing characters, such as Todoroki's complicated family history, Bakugo's struggles with vulnerability, and Uraraka's dedication to her goals. And of course, the growth of our protagonist Deku continues, as he learns to harness the power of his quirk without destroying his own body.

The Themes

Boku No Hero Academia explores some deep and relevant themes, including the concept of heroism in a world where superpowers are commonplace. Season 3 tackled new themes, such as the price of ambition, the value of teamwork, and the morality of creating a new society based on quirks.

The show also continues to highlight the importance of mentorship, with both All Might and Endeavor serving as complicated figures for the young heroes to learn from. It's a reminder that even heroes are flawed, but it's how they choose to use their powers that defines them.

The Action

As always, Boku No Hero Academia delivers satisfying and high-stakes action sequences that get the heart pumping. Whether it's the intense battles of the Sports Festival or the nail-biting showdowns with the League of Villains, every fight scene is well-animated and choreographed, with each character's quirk contributing to the dynamic clashes.

But the show also knows when to slow down, letting the character relationships and emotional stakes build up before unleashing the next explosive confrontation. And season 3 ends with an epic, multi-episode battle that will go down as one of the show's best.

The Music

An anime's music can make or break its atmosphere, but Boku No Hero Academia consistently provides an excellent soundtrack to complement its story and action. Composer Yuki Hayashi returns for season 3, delivering memorable tracks like United States of Smash, My Hero, and Hero A.

The opening and ending themes are also top-notch, with “ODD FUTURE” by UVERworld and “Update” by Miwa being standout tracks that reflect the energy and spirit of the show.

The Future

With the conclusion of season 3, fans are eagerly anticipating what's next for Boku No Hero Academia. The manga is still ongoing, with plenty of material to adapt for future seasons.

Season 4 has already been announced and is set to air in Japan in October 2019, so fans won't have to wait long to see their favorite heroes and villains back in action. And with the show's continued critical and commercial success, it's safe to say that Boku No Hero Academia will be a force to be reckoned with in the world of anime for years to come.

Conclusion

Boku No Hero Academia 3 was a standout season for the beloved anime. Its memorable arcs, compelling characters, deep themes, exciting action, and excellent music cemented its place as one of the best anime series currently airing. The future looks bright for this show and its fandom, as we eagerly await what's next for Deku and his classmates.

Hello fellow Boku No Hero Academia fans! If you're here, I'm sure you are as excited and hyped up as I am about the latest season of the anime. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Here's a little recap and my personal thoughts on the third season of Boku No Hero Academia.

The season started off strong with the introduction of new characters from U.A.'s rival school, Shiketsu High. Among those characters was none other than the wind hero, Inasa Yoarashi, who became one of my personal favorites. It was exciting to see how the students of U.A. tackled the challenges thrown at them by Shiketsu High in the U.A. Sports Festival.

But the highlight of the season for me was definitely the intense and emotional battle between All Might and his archnemesis, All for One. The buildup to this fight was incredible, and the animation and music just took it to a whole new level of epicness. Not to mention that the aftermath of this battle had some of the most heartwrenching and tearjerking scenes in the series.

Overall, Boku No Hero Academia season 3 delivered in all aspects - from the action-packed fights to the well-developed characters to the emotional rollercoaster of a plot. It left me wanting more and I'm sure fans feel the same way. So if you haven't watched it yet, what are you waiting for? Plus Ultra!
